Frank Digital wins City of Sydney website redesign

Frank Digital has won new business from the City of Sydney, to redesign and develop its website, in a competitive pitch against 21 other agencies. The win has resulted in the hire of Clint Crothers as head of design.

The announcement:

Ironically named digital agency Frank Digital has just been awarded the re-design and development of the City of Sydney’s “What’s On” website. It announces the agency as a force to reckon with in 2014 with 21 digital agencies vowing for the business.

It caps of a huge last 6 months for the independent agency adding five new clients to the roster including Nickelodeon, The Athlete’s Foot, [A’kin], The GPT Group and SBS. The agency is also responsible for designing and developing Australia’s first live Instagram printer and launching sister agency Social Playground.

Creative Director, Matt Barbelli, said “We are honoured and excited to have the opportunity to work on a project of this scale. It really provides us the opportunity to put our own little stamp on this beautiful city we call Sydney”

As a result of the business growth, Frank Digital has hired new Head of Design Clint Crothers from Digital Arts Network. Clint brings a wealth of experience and has previously worked for Tequila and Massive Interactive on brands such as NRMA, General Pants and Red Bull.

Frank Digital specialise in crafting high-end digital user experiences across, eCommerce, CMS Websites, Social Media, Mobile Applications and Digital Campaigns.
