Fremantle Media CEO Ian Hogg departs

After nearly a decade with the company, CEO of Fremantle Media Asia Pacific Ian Hogg has stepped down.

Hogg joined Fremantle in 2009

He was promoted to the regional role in 2011 after serving time as CEO of Fremantle Media Australia. The local arm of the company produces shows including Neighbours, Family Feud, Wentworth and the upcoming Picnic At Hanging Rock.

Hogg will finish up at the end of the month and a successor is yet to be announced.

Hogg began his career in production and programming at Ten and has subsequently worked at NZTV3, Becker Group and MGM Worldwide, as well as advising for Prime Media Group.

Fremantle Media’s group CEO, Cécile Frot-Coutaz said: “On behalf of his many colleagues and friends across Fremantle Media, I would like to thank Ian for the significant contribution he has made to our business and to wish him well for the future.”

Hogg said his time at Fremantle Media Australia had been a career highlight.

“It is a business steeped in history that continues to write new chapters. I am particularly proud of the diversity of content we have produced while at the helm. I thank all those who’ve shared in this experience with me and genuinely wish the group’s fantastic leadership and staff the very, very best moving forward.”

It is not yet clear what Hogg’s next move will be.
