Gogglebox premiere draws in 633K metro viewers while Seven wins Thursday

Ten’s season 14 premiere episode of Gogglebox Australia was the #1 entertainment program on Thursday night, also winning all three key advertising demos, however it was Seven which took the overall network share win.

Gogglebox brought in 633,000 metro viewers, while Ten’s second episode of Todd Sampson’s latest program, Mirror Mirror, brought in a solid 613,000 metro viewers.

That was up on the first episode, which had 572,000 metro viewers on Wednesday.

Seven’s Home And Away was next in entertainment pulling in a metro audience of 567,000, followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia which had a metro audience of 522,000, while a late session of Seven’s Home And Away pulled in a metro audience of 508,000.

Ten’s The Project 7pm saw 482,000 metro viewers tune in, followed by Nine’s Hot Seat which saw 471,000 metro viewers tune in. 

Seven News was was the #1 program overall, with 1.013 million metro viewers, ahead of Nine News with 1.005 million metro viewers. Nine News 6:30pm was next, pulling in 996,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30pm which had 985,000 metro viewers tune in. 

As mentioned, Seven won the night with 27.6%, also topping primary channel share. 7TWO was the #1 multi-channel with a 4.1% share.
