Good return for The Farmer Wants A Wife and Ten left out of the top 15 again

The Farmer Wants A Wife returned on Nine last night with a healthy audience of 1.16 million, easily winning the 7pm timeslot. The 90-minute run will be followed by another episode on Wednesday at 7:30.

The absence of The Block didn’t help boost The Renovators like Ten may have hoped with the 7:30 show ranked as the 18th most-watched with an audience of 611,000.

For a second night in a row Ten did not have one show in the top 15, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.

The ABC had a strong showing with ABC News, Four Corners, Media Watch, Australian Story and 7:30 all rating in the top 15.

Overall, Seven won the night with 21.8%, 0.4% ahead of Nine.
