Hamilton Island is launching its first brand campaign in five years and will feature the new strap line “Where in the world would you rather be?”.
The national campaign will point to recent developments in the area such as luxury villas, the golf club and yacht club. It will also highlight its close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef.
Created by The Furnace and media handled by MPG, the campaign will encompass print, outdoor and online advertising.
Press ads will appear in publications including Marie Claire, Gourmet Traveller, InStyle, Better Homes & Gardens, Australian Golf Digest and Boat International. It will also be in inserts including The Good Weekend and Sunday Life.
Javier Degen, marketing director for Hamilton Island, said: “2009 was a big year for Hamilton Island, with the opening of the Golf Club, Yacht Club and luxury villas.
“This, coupled with the success of Tourism Queensland’s Best Job in the World campaign and increased flight access to the Island, make it an ideal time for us to launch this campaign.”
