Hamish & Andy’s Andy Lee is set to speak at Mumbrella Audioland on May 5 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney.

Andy Lee from the Hamish & Andy podcast will sit on a panel titled ‘The Power of Personality: Building An Audio Brand Listeners Love’

The panel will discuss how to cultivate positive relationships between hosts and listeners, how to create a sense of community through audio, how to select the right talent, the role talent plays in creating trust and what works compared to what doesn’t.

Blake and Lee started their careers in radio, and their national drive show later reached around 2.5m listeners each week for four years.

Meanwhile, Mamamia’s head of content, Holly Wainwright will also speak on a panel which includes Audible’s country manager and head of Audible Australia, Leanne Cartwright-Bradford; Nova Entertainment’s digital commercial director, Kane Reiken; and Group M’s chief digital strategy officer, Venessa Hunt.

They will unpack the commercial opportunities in audio, deliberating on the best ways to sell ads into audio, how to make it engaging, emerging audio advertising models and how best to align your brand with audio.
