Hardie Grant Media opens PR and events agency ‘Tide.pr.’ led by ex-David Jones communications manager

Tide PR will be run by the former national communications manager at retail giant David Jones, Madeleine Wilson.

Wilson has been working with David Jones for the past five years and has also had stints at Identity PR, WPP’s Ideaworks and at the Day of Difference Foundation.

“Public relations exists to influence. To tell stories via earned channels that deliver brands more resonance, reputation and integrity with their customers.

“We understand that consumers are more savvy and educated than ever before and therefore communications with brands must be meaningful and full of purpose.

“There is a need to create emotional connections with audiences and being backed by Hardie Grant Media connects tide.pr with a network of skilled professionals to assist in crafting these engaging stories,” Wilson said in a statement.

Nick Hardie-Grant, managing director at Hardie Grant Media, said the company is excited to be entering into PR.

“It’s an obvious extension to our heritage in storytelling and content creation and will benefit both Hardie Grant Media’s existing and new clients,” he said.
