Holler Sydney wins ESPN
Digital agency Holler has been appointed by sports broadcaster ESPN to revamp its website.
The announcement:
The world’s leading multimedia sports broadcaster ESPN has engaged Holler Sydney to create a new look website to reflect the brands’ ever growing presence among Australian and NZ sports fans.
The new look site www.espn.com.au is being created by Holler to reflect ESPN and its vast array of premium sporting properties in this region. With a portfolio including two channels ESPN and ESPN2 (both in SD & HD), a third on- ‐line channel ESPN3.com and 3D programming, it was only natural that ESPN’s presence would need a new digital platform to compliment its expansion and serve its sports fans.
“With Australia’s passion for all things sport, ESPN is now expanding its marketing activity in the region with the big international sports but also with ever increasing local content,” said Gus Seebeck, Commercial Director ESPN Australia/NZ.
“We’ve been really impressed with Holler’s recent work and its ideasfor our new digital platform. They clearly have their finger on the sporting pulse and we’re very excited about the work they’ve produced for us so far.”
Holler CEO, Mike Hill shares in Seebeck’s excitement. “We’re over the moon to be working with ESPN. They’re a global brand and it’s a great opportunity for us creatively.”
Keep an eye out for the launch of the site later this year.
