Home Beautiful magazine launches 24-part content series to take viewers on an ‘incredible adventure’

Pacific Magazines’ Home Beautiful has partnered with Harvey Norman to create a content series led by chef Martin Boetz, which aims to take viewers on an “incredible adventure” and a “fabulous food journey”.

The Cooks Co-op series will run twice a week over the next 12 weeks, seeking to celebrate the magazine audience’s passion for both renovation and food.

Each piece of content is set in Boetz’s hometown in the Hawkesbury Valley, NSW. Throughout the series, he will be joined by Gerry Harvey, founder and executive chairman of Harvey Norman, Wendy Moore, general manager of homes and food at Pacific Magazines, winemaker Lisa McGuiganas, well as a number of guest celebrity chefs.

The restaurant, which is being developed as part of the series, is set to open in 2019, with regular guest-chef menu collaborations and private events.

The content series will also be supported by print features in Home Beautiful and Better Homes and Gardens, coupled with Boetz’s recipes and a website vertical.

It follows last year’s House to Home Beautiful content series, which saw a Melbourne home knocked down and completely rebuilt over 12 weeks.

Pacific Magazines’ Moore said she was looking forward to celebrating the farmers, food producers and local hospitality in the region.

“Over the next 12 weeks, the Cooks Co-op content series will cater to our audience’s love of renovation projects and passion for food whilst transforming a humble shed into an impressive farm-to-table restaurant,” she said.

Boetz said the concept was a dream come true.

“We’ll shine a light on some of the country’s best food producers, meet the locals who make this region so special, share delicious recipes and transform an old, humble tin shed into an impressive space, all against the backdrop of Sydney’s beautiful Hawkesbury that I have come to love,” he added.
