Honda assigns Hill+Knowlton to PR account

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has been appointed to handle Honda Australia’s PR account following a competitive pitch process, Mumbrella can reveal.

Two months ago Honda pitched its public relations account after Wrights PR resigned from the account.

Hill + Knowlton Strategies win the Honda account

Penelope Holloway, managing director at Hill+ Knowlton Strategies, said: “We are delighted to be working with a leading and highly respected brand in the automobile market such as Honda especially given their ambition this year and beyond.”

Neil McDonald, Honda Australia’s group PR manager, said: “The team at Hill+Knowlton Strategies presented ideas and concepts which are very closely aligned to our own thinking on taking the brand forward.”

The account win follows the recent appointment of Sandrine Atallah, who will be leading the Honda account alongside Penelope Holloway.

Atallah joins Hill+Knowlton from public relations agency Hotwire, ending her six month stint as consumer director.

Hotwire promoted Atallah to consumer director in January this year from her previous role as senior program manager.

Other clients of Hill + Knowlton Strategies include LG Electronics, HSBC and Latitude Financial of Australia.
