Hotwire promotes Jaime Nelson to MD

Enero’s communications agency Hotwire has promoted Jaime Nelson to managing director.

Nelson was previously the managing director of sister agency Precinct and came across to Hotwire as managing director of strategy and marketing services following the merger of the two agencies last year.

Nelson has been with Enero since 2010

Nelson’s appointment comes as Hotwire’s service offering has expanded.

“We are dedicated to transforming our agency into a hub of marketing services that our partners can activate based on their changing needs,” Nelson said.

“Traditionally, Hotwire has been known for owning the tech PR space. As our team has expanded, so has our service offering, in order to align with market needs. We’re now servicing clients in brand strategy, social media strategy and performance, as well as content production and design, and media relations.”

Nelson explained the agency is aiming to evolve into a ‘tech-focused brand consultancy’, servicing traditional technology businesses and growing areas such as healthtech and fintech.

Hotwire has also hired Rochelle Ritchie as content director.

Ritchie joins from Selph Health Studios where she was also content director. Previously she worked at Hello Social. Ritchie has worked with brands including GSK, Multiple Sclerosis Ltd, and Schneider Electric.

Ritchie said of her appointment: “I believe the future is integrated. Hotwire seems to be adding the right ingredients to evolve with a changing landscape, while maintaining the expertise in tech PR. I’m excited to join the team, and be part of the future at Hotwire.”

Nelson added: “We’re excited to have Rochelle on board. Her extensive experience in digital marketing is the perfect addition to expand our offering. This will help fast track our vision to be a one-stop-shop for marketing services.”
