IPMG bolsters management line-up

IPMG has strengthened its management line-up with the appointment of Benoit Droulez as digital chief strategy officer and Mei Koon as senior marketing executive.

The announcement:

Sydney, 30 June 2011 – IPMG – Australia’s largest privately owned marketing communications group has today announced appointments into two newly created roles designed to promote the Group’s expanded capabilities in the cross-media space.

Benoit Droulez has been appointed to the role of Digital Chief Strategy Officer to drive the growth of IPMG’s digital capabilities and Mei Koon to the role of Senior Marketing Executive to drive the group’s brand and marketing communications strategy. The appointments reflect IPMG’s increasing breadth of capabilities across a wide range of marketing communications solutions.

Droulez has been with IPMG for more than four years in the role of CEO of Sagemetrics, an IPMG Digital business based in Paris. Having relocated to Sydney, Droulez will play a leadership role in the expansion of digital capabilities within IPMG.

Koon is a marketing communications professional with more than 10 years’ global experience on both agency and client-side. In her new role, Koon will lead the development and execution of the group’s brand and marketing communications strategy for the overarching group, and provide strategic support to businesses within the group.
