iSelect rushes new ads to air after laptop in hot tub ad ban
A week after its TV ad was banned for showing a man using an electrical appliance in water, iSelect has launched a new commercial and re-edited an old one to push its health insurance deals.
The price comparison site launched a $3m rebrand campaign in November, but the Ad Standards Bureau ruled last week that a TV ad featuring a man using a laptop in a hot tub must be taken off air.
The company is also running a re-edited old ad to sustain the brand’s exposure on television.
It took iSelect’s agency AJF two days to re-edit the old ad, while the new spot is part of a new campaign that was brought forward by two weeks.

Bring back the undies, Don’t know if stealing from staff is the right positioning for a broker that get’s paid commissions. Better to leave him as a Smart awkward egg head trying to help us compare.
