James Larman joins Mediacom strategy team

Mediacom has become the second media agency in recent months to make a high level signing from the ranks of media owner Network Ten.

Nine Network’s client strategy manager James Larman has joined Mediacom as director of strategy, reporting to chief strategy officer Paul Payne who joined from OMD in October.

Before his year at Nine, Larman was a communications strategist at Naked Communications and a planner at OMD UK for four years.

Payne said: “It’s a cracking win that James is coming on board.”

Larman’s experience working at TV network Nine will also come in useful with Mediacom having Seven as a client.

He said: “I couldn’t help but be impressed by MediaCom and their ambition. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

He starts on Monday.

November saw Toby Hack move from Nine to become MD of PHD.
