Jay Walkerden’s Podshape launches new podcast The Van Life Series

Podshape, the podcasting business created by Jay Walkerden, has released a new series, The Van Life.

The announcement:

Camille Cannings who is the creator of Augie Sundays and the host of The Van Life Series said “The idea behind the The Van Life Series is to chat to people living on the road around the world who are challenging the ‘norm’, ditching the 9 to 5 and switching to this simple way of living. I want to know if you strip away the day to day stresses, give up most of your material items and convert to this simple life does it make you happier?

“I am excited to come on board with Jay and the Podshape team, their podcast model is built around stories that can change the world, so it felt like a perfect fit.”

Walkerden and Cannings are not strangers, they have worked together before at Nova where Camille did a multitude of roles which included a very successful stint as breakfast EP on the Nova breakfast show in Brisbane last year where the show was number 1 for most of the year.

Jay Walkerden – Head Shaper at Podshape said “Cam is a real gem, she understands what great content is and this podcast is perfect for anyone thinking about making a move from the daily 9-5 to a more simplistic way of living.”

Podshape burst into the Australian podcasting scene in March this year and have quickly produced some popular titles which focus on story telling for change.
