Jetstar launches new brand campaign

Budget airline Jetstar has launched a new brand campaign, coinciding with the company’s forthcoming tenth anniversary.

The new campaign continues to use the Qantas-owned airline’s tagline – Low Fares Are Just Part of the Story – but emphasises how the airline has grown over the years and is rolling out new aircraft such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliners, as part of its continued expansion.

Naked Communications is behind the strategy for the campaign while Ted Horton’s Big Red is responsible for the creative. Maxus handled media planning and buying.

The new TV campaign talks about the rollout of new aircraft and what this will mean for consumers. The campaign was filmed at Adelaide and Melbourne Airport and features real Jetstar cabin crew and pilots and uses a mix of shots of the new 787 Jetstar Dreamliner aircraft being constructed at Boeing headquarters in Seattle.

The new brand campaign will be run across TV, print, online, social media and outdoor advertising.
