Lund gave a packed out talk on social media influencing at the National Radio Conference

Today’s Hit Network DJ Jules Lund and lawyer Stephen von Muenster joined Mumbrella for our first video hangout in front of a live audience.

The pair will talked on issues around social media, and in particular using influencers, and how that works in relation to the law. The issue has been hotly debated since Australia Post was revealed to be paying influencers for social media endorsements, but not disclosing that.

Lund has just started a new national radio show with Emma Freedman on the Southern Cross Austereo-owned network, and gave a packed-out presentation at the National Radio Conference in November on using influencers for campaigns, accusing creative agencies of “overcomplicating” their campaigns.

Media expert von Muenster represents numerous clients in the advertising and marketing communities, and is an authority on how the law impacts on social media usage, and is a regular contributor to Mumbrella.

There are some free tickets available for the hangout, which is taking place at Mumbrella House in Chippendale at 5pm on February 18. Tickets will be allocated ona  first come first served basis are available by emailing alex@focalattractions.com.au with the subject heading Mumbrella hangout tickets.
