Evans: Amnesia to Text 100

PR agency Text 100 has hired former Amnesia social media manager Karalee Evans into the role of digital strategist.

The moves follows the departure of Text 100’s director of digital lifestyle and social media Antonia Christie to become head of communications at NineMSN. In her new role Christie will manage all corporate, trade and consumer public relations activities for NineMSN in Australia.

Text 100 has also made a number of other hires including Jennie Holland, Senior Account Manager;  Pip Giles, Account Manager;  Tamara Jawad, Senior Account Executive;  Michaela Zucker, Account Coordinator;  Anna Bray, Account Coordinator;  and Meredith Gilkes, Account Coordinator.

Before Amnesia, Evans was communications and partnerships manager at youth mental health organisation Headspace.

Adrianne Kern, managing consultant at Text 100, said: “Karalee’s appointment will cement our drive to integrate digital communications within the overall PR mix – we have a lot to learn from her in terms of her recent experience at Amnesia Razorfish, plus her digital focus over the past few years at Headspace.”

Evans said: “I’m excited to be joining the talented and fun team at Text 100 to further drive their digital and social media integration. The move back into communications at a time when media convergence is leading clients to look for integrated partners, couldn’t be made with a better or more stable agency.”
