Karim Temsamani returns to regional role at Google

Karim Temsamani appointed head of Google Asia Pacific

Former Google Australia MD, Karim Temsamani has been appointed head of the company’s Asia-Pacific operations.

Temsamani will oversee the company’s sales and operations across the region including Australia

He comes across from vice-president of new products and solutions for the Americas.

Temsamani will also direct regional business strategy for Google products such as YouTube, Google Maps, Google Apps for Busines and Adwords.

Temsamani was Australian MD from August 2007 to December 2010 and subsequently VP of Global Mobile.

Prior to his time at Google, Temsamani spent five years at Fairfax Media, from November 2002.

He replaces Daniel Alegre who will lead Partner Business Solutions for Google globally.
