Kate & Co PR wins 4 new clients, and retains 2 more

Kate & Co PR has expanded its portfolio of fashion, beauty and luxury lifestyle clients, with four new wins including Wanderlust Australia, Review, Runway Room and a project ahead of Désordre Boutique’s first Melbourne store.

The agency has also retained the PR contract for Melbourne Fashion Week, as well as working with Lexus for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Following new business wins, the agency has also made three new hires, with Stephanie Phelps hired as account director, Sarah Yarwood as account manager, and Ruby Loosli as account executive.

Managing director of the agency, Kate Keane said that she was pleased to see the tide starting to turn, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19.

“It’s a joy to welcome our new team members and to also work with industry leading consultants across a mix of engaging, inspiring new accounts.”

The agency will work with wellness brand Wanderlust Australia to provide strategic communications and to “drive the brand story”. For clothing brand Review Australia, Kate & Co will launch an artist collaboration in 2021, managing a launch event, influencer campaign, ambassador program and media relations campaign.

Kate & Co will also add Alex Fevola’s Runway Room brand to its beauty portfolio, working on retainer across media relations, influencer engagement, brand and business profiling, events and new product launches.

Keane continued: “As an agency, we are in a really great place and we look forward to seeing this positive momentum flow through as we look ahead to deliver exceptional communications campaigns for both our new and existing stable of clients.”

In May, Kate & Co. won the business of New Zealand brands Ashley & Co and Ōra King as well as a project for Hotel Esplanade St Kilda.

The agency’s client list also includes Ovolo Hotel South Yarra, Coles, Australia Turf Club, Blunt Umbrella, Spotlight Property Group and more.
