Keep Left signs with Hudson’s Coffee

PR agency Keep Left has been appointed by Hudsons Coffee and will start by rolling out a print campaign to promote a new blend.

The announcement:

Hudsons Coffee has signed Keep Left as its public relations partner of choice.

Hudsons Coffee, an Australian coffee institution is celebrating its 15th year with the launch of a stronger flavoured coffee blend, Barista’s Choice.

Keep Left has been engaged to promote the new blend, both for the in-store and take home markets, supporting a new print campaign which encourages customers to ‘be bold’.

Caroline Catterall, CEO of Keep Left said, “Hudsons Coffee is an iconic brand. I remember queuing round the block when it opened its first store in the city. In a country which sees coffee brands come and go, it’s wonderful to be working with a trusted coffee specialist who has stood the test of time. Hudsons Coffee is a sleeping beauty, and one we’re happy to wake up.”
Keep Left will be developing a press office and rolling out a publicity campaign to promote the new Barista’s Choice blend, reflecting Australia’s changing tastebuds, and encouraging the consumer to take a fresh look at one of Australia’s most well-loved coffee houses. The PR will complement all above-the-line activity, with a blogger campaign supporting an in-store promotion.

Adam Summerville, Managing Director at Emirates Leisure Retail is excited about what the launch of the new blend will mean for the Hudsons Coffee business. “Barista’s Choice is just one part of a bigger business evolution for us,” he said “With a brand refresh, new store refurbs alongside our menu which has been compiled by a former head chef from a Michelin-starred London restaurant– Keep Left will have plenty to talk about!”
