Kellie Holt joins Atomic 212 as head of content

Atomic 212 has appointed Kellie Holt as head of content, having joined from Havas Media in New York where she was the director of branded entertainment for three years.

Prior to her stint at Havas, Holt was the client director and producer of brand experience at Jack Morton Worldwide for one year.

Holt started with Atomic 212 in June

Holt will be working closely with the agency’s creative and media teams.

“So many of us, whether we are agencies or clients, wear a ‘marketing hat’. This can be quite limiting because we have a preconceived notion of what is and isn’t marketing. Instead, we should be thinking like creators, journalists, filmmakers, educators and entertainers, developers and, of course, like marketers as well,” Holt said of her appointment.

“We need to engage people who are not just numbers on a screen. We are humans talking to humans. Sometimes this can become lost when we put our ‘marketing hat’ on.”

Jason Dooris, chief executive of Atomic 212, said the office has had a “buzz” since Holt commenced.

“She has a unique way of solving client problems, and her approach to content is one of the most innovative I’ve ever seen,” Dooris continued.

Atlassian, BHP, Origin Energy, AMP, Nespresso Australia and Tabcorp are all clients of Atomic 212.
