Keynote Mumbrella360 Question Time panel revealed as Robert Morgan, Mia Freedman, Darren Woolley and John Sintras
The high profile speakers on the closing session at June’s Mumbrella360 conference has been announced.
The keynote Mumbrella Question Time session will feature one of Australia’s most successful independent publishers Mia Freedman, the boss of Australia’s biggest local advertising group Robert Morgan, the new chairman of Australia’s peak body for marketers Darren Woolley and one of the media agency world’s most respected executives John Sintras.
Robert Morgan is executive chairman of the Omnicom-aligned Clemenger Group, which consists of more than 40 communications-focused companies across Australia and New Zealand including ad agency Clemenger BBDO. Morgan has been with the company for 36 years and been boss for the last 17 years. Under Morgan’s leadership, Clemenger Group has been the most consistently commercially successful communications group in Australia.
Mia Freedman launched Mamamia in 2007 after a career spanning editing some of Australia’s biggest magazine titles, working in television and publishing a memoir.
The Mamamia Women’s Network, which reaches four million Australians per month, now also includes Debrief Daily, iVillage, Random Harry and The Glow.
A scientist by training and a former creative director of JWT, Woolley is the CEO and founder of marketing consultancy Trinity P3 which has led some of Australia’s biggest media and advertising pitches.
In December, Woolley also became chairman of the Australian Marketing Institute, which is the country’s main professional marketing membership body.
And Sintras has been in the industry in Australia since before media agencies split from creative agencies. Currently the chairman of Starcom MediaVest Group Australia and director of the agency’s global experience product committee, Sintras has served on the boards of the Media Federation of Australia, the Australian Asslociation of National Advertisers and the Advertising Standards Bureau.
