KFC Big Bash League unveils colourful new campaign via Apparent

The KFC Big Bash launched for the 2020/21 season last week, and now the BBL has rolled out a new integrated campaign celebrating the game being ‘Made of moments’.

The new integrated campaign, created by Apparent, comes off the back of Cricket Australia’s new ‘What we’re made of’ campaign, with a new visual style to separate the two products.

The new creative from Apparent aims to show off the family fun that the KFC Big Bash has to offer, with the bright colours of the teams incorporated throughout the campaign.

Apparent was appointed by Cricket Australia to manage its creative and media earlier in 2020.

Apparent ECD Michelle Turchini said: “We wanted to show not only the thrill that comes from watching the elite players, but also the feeling in the stadium, capturing the summer night skies and spontaneous energy of the fans.”

The campaign rolls out with a 30-second TVC, as well as a 15-second version, plus extensive out of home media, digital and social media.

Further extensions of the campaign will be released alongside the current Cricket Australia campaign to launch the upcoming Vodafone Test Series between Australia and India.

Cricket Australia head of brand and marketing Natalie Davey said: “KFC BBL is back for a year like no other. We are aiming to bring all the excitement that our fans love to make it a season to remember.”
