‘Kyle’s off again’
Dr Mumbo is delighted to see that the Today Network’s Kyle & Jackie O Show takes itself less seriously than one might have expected.
This behind-the-scenes video has been created to tie in with a Paramount promotion for the DVD release of telly romcom Morning Glory. And fair to say, Jackie O’s got the worse end of the deal. Not only has she got to get up in the middle of the night to interview Justin Bieber, but Kyle’s off work with a sore throat.
It’s going to run as a daily webisode all of next week

2day FM listeners might think it’s genuine, but few others will.
When I first came to Australia I was appalled by Kyle and Jacky and their team.
Now I really miss them. There is nothing like them in the UK. Eheu!
Are you kidding me jean cave? UK radio has 100 times better jocks then these two muppets…it took me 10 minutes of listening to this excuse for a breakfast show to never listen to breakfast radio in Sydney ever again….it’s a joke…problem is there’s nothing on at breakfast that is any good to listen to…give me Chris Evans, Bam Bam and Streetboy, Moyles or even Tarrent any day of the week of than these two morans…even Tony Blackburn…no wait…i take that one back…..
So, a highly paid talent has such emotional capacity and zest for life that having to wake up to interview one of the biggest names in entertainment is “hell”, interesting. Tough gig. Like every comment I’ve ever seen this woman make, it is bland, non thought through…As for the reaction to Kyle not showing for work, I am assuming that there are two cameras rolling on this show? Or is it one camera repositioned…

Hey thanks for letting me know what I should be liking.
Of course I love Chris Evans he is the man, but I can’t remember him ever having a sperm-health race with his colleagues etc. etc. What I liked about the programme in question was/is the ‘seemingly’ unscripted nature of the enterprise. Also they + team seem to have genuine moods like the rest of us humanoids.
I never found a radio station that reflected my taste in music however, bearing in mind radio reception in the Blue Mountains is/was crap. Perhaps you could suggest something when/if Australia ever allows me back in.
