Kylie Green appointed managing director for Aegis Media’s activations

Kylie Green has been appointed managing director for Aegis Media’s activations following the departure of David Fish, who moved to Initiative in June.

The announcement:

Kylie Green has been appointed to the role of Managing Director for Aegis Media’s activations agencies across Australia and New Zealand, replacing David Fish who left the company in August.

With over 25 years of experience in the advertising, marketing and activations space, Kylie is exceptionally positioned to lead ApolloNation and Synergy. Kylie has an entrepreneurial background, having built three businesses from the ground up. She has a reputation for excellent client and staff management coupled with strong business acumen.

Kylie founded Kaleidoscope Marketing Communications in 1997 after a decade in advertising and experiential marketing roles. She built it into one of Australia’s largest activation agencies with clients such as Emirates, The Good Guys, GSK, Colgate-Palmolive and Diageo. The agency was subsequently sold to the Photon Group of Companies.

Most recently, she has been the Founding Director of The Oven Communication brand activation agency, managing clients such as Twentieth Century Fox, Samsung Electronics and Layne Beachley’s Aim for the Stars Foundation.

Kylie has also represented in key industry organisations being a member of AMI, MAAW and APMA of which she was Chairperson for 5 years and Vice Chairperson for 2 years. She has been the recipient of numerous industry awards including finalist in the Telstra Women’s Business Awards and numerous APMA Star Awards including The APMA Lifetime Achievement Award 2013.

Operating across Australia and New Zealand with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, ApolloNation and Synergy offers the complimentary fields of shopper, promotional and experiential marketing, brand experience and merchandising backed by a strong strategic and insights team with creative and digital expertise.

Clients of ApolloNation and Synergy include Carlton United Breweries, Nestle, Big W, The AFL, Simplot, Douwe Egberts, Heinz, Smiths, Coca-Cola, Mitre 10, Woolworths and Fonterra. ApolloNation is led by Apollo’s current management team of Sydney GM Richard Woods, Melbourne GM John McKay, Head of Shopper and Retail Strategy Simon Tebbutt and Auckland Client Service Director Emma Henaghan. Synergy is led in Auckland by Business Director Jason Tan.

Kylie commences on 17 September and will be based in the Sydney office.
