Leo Burnett Melbourne hires GPY&R’s Luc Wiesman to head digital

Former head of digital strategy at George Patterson Y&R, Luc Wiesman has been appointed to digital head at Leo Burnett Melbourne.

Over the past ten years Wiesman has worked on accounts for Schweppes, Cadbury, the Australian Defence Force and the AFL.

At Leo Burnett his accounts will include Seek, 7-Eleven, Nintendo, Giant and General Mills.

Jason Williams, the agency’s ECD said: “I felt dubious about hiring a redhead, but we know Luc’s got great digital expertise. Most importantly, he understands the importance of ideas and technology working together.”
