Lingerie brand Kayser launches 3D bra ads
Australian Lingerie brand Kayser has created a 3D ad for its new bra Bombshell to feature in out of home media and in magazines.
A Kayser spokesman told Mumbrella: “There was a lot of buzz around 3D movies and talk about 3D print and this bra seemed perfect to align with a 3D outdoor and print campaign.”
The ads are coupled with the tag line “In all three dimensions”. The spokesmanadded: “Aside from the 3D effect of the campaign, the bra gives you so much boost it’s like it is in 3D as well. ”
The ads will feature in Shop Till You Drop magazine in 3D and in 2D in NW, Who, Famous and OK. 3D glasses will be attached to the issue of Shop.
A launch event in Sydney was held last week while Melbourne’s occured. Shoppers who attended the events in Martin Place and Federation Square had the opportunity to try on the bra as well as receive prizes. 3D glasses were also handed out to view the ads.
Creative was handled by Paper, Stone, Scissors, PR by Two Hands Agency and media buying by Media Kitchen.
The Kayser spokesperson did not answer a question from Mumbrella about whether inspiration was drawn from a similar campaign for Wonderbra in the UK.

Good fun campaign, novel use of 3D and even better it is not a Toshiba, LG, Philips… right this was an ad about 3D glasses yeah?

oh for pete’s sake! What a lot of hoo ha to just look at a lady’s boobies in 3D. Cheap and ineffective. Easier to check out the hot chick in front of you on the tram (and not look like a loser toting around a pair of glasses so you can perve at some tits on a billboard! Embra-rassing non?)

I think it is just clever use of a new medium and will create additional freee exposure – surley that meets there brief to create awareness and sell more?
