Magnum & Co’s MD Aaron Crowther exits, with Carl Moggridge stepping into role
Communciations agency Magnum & Co’s managing director, Aaron Crowther, has departed the agency to take on a new role as general manager of marketing and sales at not-for-profit organisation Fresh Hope.
Carl Moggridge has stepped into the managing director role to replace Crowther who departed earlier this month.
Moggridge was previously the head of strategy at Edelman for three years and has been consulting for the past three months.
Prior to his stint at Edelman, Moggridge was the strategy director at Naked Communications for three years.
Crowther, the former Magnum & Co managing director, joined the agency in July 2016 as its general manager.
“Undoubtedly this industry is going through a lot of change, but you have to see that as an exciting opportunity,” the new managing director said in a statement.
“After meeting the team at Magnum & Co, it was clear they felt the same and I was reminded why I love working in agencies. I’m looking forward to leading the team to help our clients put some important work into the world that we’re all proud of.”
Michelle Hampton, founder and director at Magnum & Co, said in a statement: “With our focus over the last two years being to cement our service lines across the influencer marketing, social and content spaces, these now represent the fastest growing divisions in our business.
“Carl joins the agency at an ideal time, where we can combine his overall business, digital and strategic expertise with our legacy in earned media to deliver integrated work that really makes a difference to our client’s businesses.”
Magnum & Co’s clients include Red Bull, Australia Post, Converse, GoDaddy and Australian Mangoes.
