Intuit Mailchimp calls to Aussies directly in debut Australian campaign

Intuit Inc., the fintech platform behind Mailchimp, has launched its debut Australian brand campaign for the aforementioned email marketing platform, playing on the familiar to raise awareness.

Developed by in-house creative agency, Wink Creative, and communications agency, PHD, the ‘To: Australia From: Mailchimp” campaign leverages the familiar elements of email (in this case, a recipient and navigation bar) to capture the seasoned eyes of Australian marketers.

Each visual element supports copy that is related to the specific location of the placement.

The campaign plays across “66 static and digital out of home [OOH] units” in Melbourne and Sydney, with channels including street furniture, large format/small digital OOH, tram wraps, sequential boards, and murals.

The genius behind the campaign stems from Australia acting as an important market for Mailchimp, explained Wink Creative’s head of creative, Jeremy Jones.

“Australia is a key market for Intuit Mailchimp,’ he said.

“We want to let Aussie marketers know how important they are to our brand and ‘To: Australia From: Mailchimp’ is how we reinforce our commitment to both our existing and new customers.

“By showing up with fun, and relevant messages for our audience, we are letting them know that Intuit Mailchimp is here to help them grow their business and convert more customers, we want to become their customer growth engine. This campaign shows all of the ways we can do that.”

‘To: Australia From: Mailchimp’ is now live and will run for six weeks.
