Manu Fieldel will return to My Kitchen Rules in 2022

Chef Manu Feildel will helm the return of a brand new My Kitchen Rules, coming to Seven and 7Plus in 2022, while the network called on the Australian public to apply for the upcoming season.

Feildel will be joined at the head of the table by one of the “world’s biggest food stars” as they judge a new batch of passionate home cooks, according to the network.

It’s state-versus-state, as the competition goes back to its original format – real people cooking real food, in their own homes, serving love on a plate to the judges and their fellow contestants.

The new season of My Kitchen Rules is produced by ITV Studios Australia for the Seven Network and premieres in 2022 on Seven and 7Plus.

“If you’re an aspiring home cook and think you’ve got what it takes to deliver a three-course menu impressive enough to take the title of My Kitchen Rules champion, apply now at www.MyKitchenRulesCasting.com.au,” the statement read.

Seven’s director of network programming, Angus Ross, said: “Whichever way you dice it, My Kitchen Rules is Australia’s favourite cooking show, adored by millions. We can’t wait to serve the nation more of what they love: real food, real people, cooking from the heart and of course, more Manu!”

Feildel commented “I’m very excited to return to the head of the table and share my passion for food with you all. I can’t wait to be back in Australian homes again, meeting more incredible home cooks and sharing their food dreams. Bring on 2022!”

ITV Studios Australia CEO, David Mott, added: “It’s an absolute privilege that Seven have entrusted ITV Studios Australia in returning this much loved Australian favourite. It will be the show everyone fell in love with, along with a few new surprises. We cannot wait to get cracking on the casting to find out who will be crowned the winners of My Kitchen Rules 2022.”
