Marie Claire partners with Salesforce on Small Business Brilliance masterclasses

Pacific’s Marie Claire has partnered with customer relationship management platform Salesforce on the Small Business Brilliance masterclass series.

The announcement:

Marie Claire and Salesforce host Small Business Brilliance masterclass series

marie claire and Salesforce, the global leader in customer relationship management (CRM), are growing their partnership with the launch of a series of small business masterclasses during Small Business Month.

Women in Melbourne and Sydney are invited to hear from some of Australia’s most influential entrepreneurs in a panel discussion hosted by marie claire editor Nicky Briger.

The inspiring panellists will share their challenges, insights, learnings and trade secrets. The Sydney event on October 9 will see P.E Nation’s Pip Edwards, Swiish’s Sally Obermeder and Maha Corbett, and Expert360’s Bridget Loudon talk about their trials and triumphs, while the Melbourne masterclass on October 22 will include Adore Beauty’s Kate Morris, Code Like a Girl’s Ally Watson and St Kilda Mums’ Jessica Macpherson.

The events are the second phase of the marie claire and Salesforce partnership which launched at the Salesforce World Tour in March where the two brands revealed the results of a widescale survey that looked at the way women’s attitudes to work and life have shifted in the past decade.

The Small Business Brilliance masterclasses are backed by further research into Australia’s small business women, conducted by Pacific and Salesforce, with key findings from the research including the majority of women personally invest in their businesses.

The top motivator for women to start a business is flexibility followed by work/life balance. Passion, dedication and strong money management are considered the top three traits for success while acquiring customers is the greatest challenge Australia’s female entrepreneurs face.

The events, as well as findings from the research, will be promoted across marie claire’s total footprint of 1.3 million including the November and December issues of the magazine, as well as digitally through numerous online articles including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn amplification.

marie claire Editor Nicky Briger said: “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Salesforce and together unite Australia’s boss ladies with our Small Business Brilliance masterclasses. Fun, friendly and ultimately inspirational, these events impart valuable trade secrets that aren’t to be missed.”

Salesforce Small Business Sales Senior Manager Bethany Nyberg said: “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with marie claire to educate, inspire and empower women in small business with our Small Business Brilliance masterclass. Whether you’re a CEO or looking to start your own business, this event has something for everyone.”
