Marketing agency Maverick hires four new staff

Marketing agency Maverick has hired four new staff in the past two months; Leigh Williamson, Liz Boyer, Shane Davis and Ignacio Gutierrez.

ACROSS THE AGENCY

After a very strong start to the new financial year, independent engagement agency Maverick has made a total of four new hires across the agency in the past two months.

Todd Marks, Director of Maverick Marketing and Communications said the new talent is testament to the strong results at the start of the financial year: “It’s a great way to celebrate our 10th birthday with new clients and talented new people. In client reviews our Mavs are regularly sited as the standard by which they judge their other agencies, high praise but also high standards to uphold.”

Leigh Williamson joins Maverick as Account Manager after a three year stint at London based sponsorship agency The National Schools Partnership.  Leigh brings experience working with the following international brands: Birdseye, 20th Century Fox, Lego Technic, Jumbo Puzzles and Electrolux. In his role at Maverick, Leigh will work on creative campaigns across the likes of San Remo, AFL, OPSM, Coke Zero and Moet-Hennessy.

Maverick also welcomes Liz Boyer into the position of Activation Manager, Liz brings with her over five years industry experience working for clients such as the Harbour Bridge 75th Anniversary and Australia Day with the Office of Protocol and Special Events at the Department of Premier and Cabinet. After spending a stint overseas, Liz also worked on both the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

Shane Davis joins Maverick in the role of Activation Manager where he is tasked with running high profile events and consumer activations. Prior to joining the growing team at Maverick, Shane was working at Barnardos as a Sponsorship and Events manager.

Ignacio Gutierrez also takes the first step onto his career ladder at Maverick in the role of Activation Coordinator.
