MCM’s Lachlan Brahe to run ComScore

lachlan braheMCM commercial director of digital Lachlan Brahe is the new boss of global online measurement giant ComScore’s Australian and NZ operation, Mumbrella can reveal.

Brahe is currently working his notice with MCM Media, where he has worked since June last year.

MCM boss Simon Joyce told Mumbrella: ‘He will definitely be missed. While 18 months is a relatively short tour of duty, I understand the opportunity he has been offered so he’ll go with our best wishes.”

Brahe joined MCM last year from agency side including five years with Aegis Media’s digital agency eMitch, where he was MD for Sydney and Brisbane.

Brahe replaces Amy Weinberger, who moved from the US to set up ComScore locally in 2010. Com Score is currently doing battle for the tender to provide data on behalf of the Audited Media Association of Australia in what appears to now be a two-way battle with Effective Measure.

ComScore previously missed out on the tender to be the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s preferred supplier, which eventually went to Nielsen.

Joyce told Mumbrella that he hoped to have a replacement for Brahe appointed before the end of the year. he said he was looking for somebody with a strong understanding of premium video.
