Media Federation Awards 2011 announced

The Media Federation of Australia has launched the 2011 Media Federation Awards. Judging will take place in Sydney and Melbourne in late July. The winners will be announced in Sydney on 20 October.

The announcement:

The Media Federation of Australia launched today the 2011 Media Federation Awards. Now in its 13th year, the purpose of the MFA Awards is to showcase the finest thinking and solutions in media practice that have contributed to the success of an advertising campaign.

Chair of the Media Federation Awards, Tracie Michael, in announcing this year’s award program theme of Mastery said “This year we see no reason to be marvelling at what’s happened in the Brave New World – we are here to achieve mastery of our media environment and to be the thought leaders and catalysts for our clients in creating brilliant media solutions that were not possible in the past.” Michael also thanked the valued award sponsors for their ongoing support. Call for Entry deadlines are the 24 June, 1 July and 8 July 2011. Download the Call for Entry kit at www.mediafederation.org.au for information regarding categories, eligibility and criteria. The brief for the 2011 NGen Award is for ACON. NGen members are encouraged to visit www.ngen.org.au to download the brief, entry form and criteria.

Judging of entries will take place in Sydney and Melbourne in late July with winners announced at the Awards ceremony in Sydney on 20 October.
