MediaMonks Nordics boss to tackle virtualisation of sport at the Mumbrella Sports Marketing Virtual Summit

Innovation and redefinition of what a marketing and virtualised sports experience could look like will be the foundation of a presentation delivered by Nora Strandberg Henriksson, managing director of MediaMonks Nordics, at the Mumbrella Sports Marketing Virtual Summit in October.

Strandberg Henriksson will deliver the presentation from Sweden and also reveal the sports businesses and sponsors driving supporter interest, stepping out of their comfort zones and embracing the creativity and technology that is flourishing.

Strandberg Henrikson will present from Sweden

She has a deep career in sport, largely as a journalist working for major broadcasters in Europe. Her career has also seen her gain significant experience in story production and post-production.

Prior to joining MediaMonks, Strandberg Henriksson served as head of film and head of strategy for content marketing agency Appelberg Publishing Group.

How did Kayo survive a period without live sports? Hearne will explain at the virtual summit

Kayo CCO Ant Hearne will also speak at the virtual summit, answering one of the biggest questions that faced the streaming service in recent times: how do you keep customers and attract new ones when live sport has all but shut down?

In the session he will reveal how Kayo’s marketing and engagement strategy was set up to survive the suspension of live sport, and to thrive once it returned.

Meanwhile, Tim Beveridge, director of strategic consulting at Silverbullet, will also look at fans but from a different angle. He’ll address the significant question of how the industry should be focusing on fans post-lockdown from a data and technology perspective.

Beveridge will illustrate how to drive fan engagement using data and how to leverage data to drive sponsorships. Plus, he’ll explain a new fan engagement model to help sporting associations capture useful and effective data on fans and their behaviours.

The Mumbrella Sports Marketing Virtual Summit takes place on October 21 with a bonus day of content added on October 22 as well. Tickets are on sale now.
