Medium Rare wins competitive pitch and takes expanded content duties for Officeworks

News Corp Australia’s content agency Medium Rare will extend its remit for Officeworks after winning a three-year content contract following a competitive pitch.

It follows the March 2020 launch of Officeworks’ online content hub, Noteworthy, developed by the agency.

The expanded appointment will see Medium Rare deliver content strategy and publishing services across Officeworks’ business units in a range of channels including online, social and instore. A team led by editor-in-chief Jo McKay will oversee the content and publishing work for the brand.

Officeworks general manager marketing and insights, Jess Richmond, said: “We are delighted to be entering into an extended partnership with Medium Rare. The relationship has already led to an award-winning best in class content program for Officeworks that we are very proud of.

“We now look forward to taking this to the next level, embedding content into all aspects of the customer journey, both online and offline”.

Medium Rare managing director, Gerry Reynolds added: “We’re excited to extend our content services across channels and reinforce key campaign messaging in order to deliver solutions to customers and inspire actions that ultimately drive sales and brand love for Officeworks.”

Officeworks last month appointed Alt/Shift to manage its national consumer public relations account following a competitive pitch process.
