Michael Morcos joins Event Hospitality and Entertainment as group comms manager
Michael Morcos has joined Event Hospitality and Entertainment – the parent company behind QT Hotels, Rydges Hotels & Resorts, Event Cinemas, Moonlight Cinemas and Thredbo – as its group communications manager.
Morcos is replacing Stephen Howard who departed Event Hospitality and Entertainment as its group PR director in February.
Prior to joining Event Hospitality and Entertainment, Morcos was working as a senior publicist for Destination NSW.
Morcos joins as group comms manager
Between 2015 and 2016 Morcos was the head of public relations at Presto, Foxtel’s streaming company.
Morcos said in a statement to Mumbrella: “Event Hospitality and Entertainment has a rich Australian history and an impressive portfolio of successful brands that are ingrained in the Australian and international travel, tourism and entertainment landscapes.
“I’m thrilled to join the team and look forward to leading the group communications as the company moves into an exciting new era.”
In February this year, Event Hospitality and Entertainment appointed Carat as its media agency of record.
