Mining magnate Clive Palmer tweets PM offer to help with media reforms
Dr Mumbo is delighted that eccentric mining magnate Clive Palmer has volunteered himself as an adviser to Julia Gillard while the new media reforms are implemented.
The reforms were announced last week. Palmer’s cites his “extensive media experience” as qualification and said he will offer impartial advice.
Early last year he expressed a desire to own a large share in Australia’s media and has made headlines for a number of his flamboyant projects which have included building the Titanic II, and building a life-sized dinosaur robot for his resort on the Sunshine Coast.
Once he’s handling the media reforms, everything should be fine.
If JG is actually following advice she’s currently getting, then Clive could hardly be any worse.

Clive isn’t kidding! He’s the very antithesis of Rupert, who’s been kidding the public for years. At least Clive is fun! The only thing funny about Rupert is that he thinks he thinks he’s a thinker like Clive.
