The Monkeys appoints JWT’s Jay Morgan as innovation director

J. Walter Thomspon’s group digital creative director, Jay Morgan, is joining The Monkeys as innovation director.

Morgan held his position at JWT for over two years after departing Havas as digital creative director.

Morgan has always been attracted to The Monkeys

Morgan has also spent time as the creative director at Amnesia Razorfish.

During his time at The Monkeys, Morgan will aim to solve client challenges through innovation and digital technology, developing new digital platforms and products.

Justin Drape, co-founder and CCO at The Monkeys, said in a statement: “We are looking forward to seeing Jay apply his vision and intelligent thinking to many of the projects we now have in front of us. He’s going to add a lot of value to our creativity and culture.”

The Monkeys clients include: Blackmores, Bingle, HCF, MLA, Jack Daniels, IGA, Telstra and Qantas.
