Moon Group wins Financial Planning Association account

The Financial Planning Association of Australia appoints Moon Group to handle creative following a competitive pitch.

The announcement:

STW’s Moon Group has been appointed by Australia’s leading professional association for financial planners, the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA), as its creative agency of choice following a competitive pitch.

Effective immediately, the appointment gives Moon a remit to develop the strategy and creative for the FPA’s 2015 consumer advertising campaign.

Moon Group’s CEO, Gavin Levinsohn said the team was thrilled to add the FPA to Moon’s burgeoning client roster. “Australia’s financial landscape is a challenging environment and demands a clever and bespoke creative solution. Many Australians still don’t actively seek financial advice, so we will be working closely with the FPA to create a campaign ensuring consumers naturally turn to a Certified Financial Planner professional for trusted financial advice.”

Moon Group’s Group Executive Creative Director Rob Martin Murphy said of the appointment: “It’s a great win for us here at Moon Group. We’re looking forward to helping the FPA grow its brand and member base.”

FPA CEO, Mark Rantall said: “We are excited about our new partnership with Moon Group, and the new campaign we are launching soon. The campaign is designed to give consumers clear road signs to the right advice. A Certified Financial Planner professional holds the highest financial planning qualification worldwide.”

The first campaign created by Moon will go live in April and will be aired nationally throughout the autumn and winter period.

Moon Group is part of STW, Australia’s leading marketing content and communications group.
