Mr iSelect returns for end of financial year ‘detax’

iSelect has launched its end of financial year deals offer with a campaign telling potential customers they can ‘detax’ if they get in before the June 30 deadline.

The ad, created by the AJF Partnership, comes ahead of what the site claims is its busiest time of the year and stars ongoing brand spokesman Mr iSelect.


 

iSelect’s marketing director Geraldine Davys said: “A detox helps you get rid of unwanted toxins. An iSelect ‘Detax’ is even better – it helps you get rid of unwanted taxes. The campaign stars our hugely popular Mr iSelect character and positions iSelect as the only service that truly provides the consumer choice, simplicity and the expert advice to avoid paying unnecessary taxes,” Davys said.

AJF executive creative director Josh Stephens said the integrated campaign makes full use of Mr iSelect’s quirky personality, adding: “The concept of taking a ‘detax’ before June 30 has let us play up a lot of the crazy things people drink when they’re on a juice detox. Health insurance is complex but Mr iSelect manages to bring a light touch to a serious topic.”

The campaign is supported with TV, radio, outdoor and digital.
