‘MSIX adopt a creative’ offers creatives a chance to attend the conference for free

Mumbrella MSIX is the only conference in Australia that brings together the worlds of marketing, science and creativity. But every year conspicuous by their absence is ‘the creative’.

You know the type, brilliant and unrestrained, yet also scared that any new information about human behaviour, or how communications actually works will somehow mess with their finely balanced creative flow.

Well, we think the age of ‘trust me’ to explain how an idea may or may not work are well past, and creatives – as much as anyone else – need to better understand how our craft actually works, and how we can do it better.

So MSIX is offering marketing professionals the chance to come to MSIX for free. All you need to do is drag a recalcitrant creative along with you, and you could both get in for free. Just post a picture of the two of you and tag #MSIXADOPTACREATIVE.

Three pairs (an adopted creative and their adoptee) will get in for free. MSIX will award the prizes to the people who can find the most creative creatives to come along (as judged by the wholly unscientific method of number of awards won).

So photobomb a creative, tag #MSIXADOPTACREATIVE, then be prepared to both come for free (note: if your creative doesn’t turn up then you pay double).

MSIX will be on November 3 at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney.
