MCN creates six new roles to manage online sales demand

Pay TV sales house Multi Channel Network has expanded its online sales team with the creation of six new roles, including an online sales director.

Nick Young joins from Ninemsn as national online sales director, while Spencer Rodgers joins as Victorian online sales manager from Fox Interactive Media.

In addition, MCN has added four people to its strategic integration team; Carla Wainer, Ann Gruber and Tim Love, with another new starter yet to be announced.

Young, formerly head of strategy and development at Ignite group sales manager for Sydney and Adelaide for Ignite Media, will report to national sales director Mark Frain.

The new roles were created to meet rising demand for integrated content ideas across on-air, online, interactive and mobile channels, according to a press release.

Last week, MCN unveiled the new sponsor line-up for Australia’s Next Top Model.
