Mumbrella CommsCon Awards shortlist for 2023
In the 2023 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards shortlist Herd MSL has received seven nominations, while Ogilvy PR has landed in eight categories. Eleven has got the most nominations, with 12 across ten categories.
The nominations for Herd MSL include Best B2C Campaign, Best B2B Campaign, Best PR-led Brand Partnership Campaign, Best Influencer Strategy, PR Professional of the Year, PR Leader of the Year and Best PR Employer.
Ogilvy PR has received eight nominations across eight categories, including Best B2C Campaign, Best Campaign with a Small Budget, Best Use of Owned Media, Best Government Sponsored Campaign, Best PR-led Brand Partnership Campaign, Best Use of Research and Insights, Best Media Relations-led Campaign, and PR Agency of the Year – Large.
In the spotlight this year is Eleven, with the most nominations of the year across ten categories.
These consist of Best B2B Campaign, PR-led Content Creation (two nominations), Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year, Best Government Sponsored Campaign, Best PR-led Brand Partnership Campaign, Corporate Social Responsibility, Pro Bono Campaign of the Year, Best Influencer Strategy, Best Use of Research and Insights and Best Non-Traditional Business Opportunity (two nominations).
Also in the spotlight for another year was Sefiani Communications Group, which was earlier in the year acquired by Clarity Global Group, with three nominations across three categories, including Best PR Employer and PR Agency of the Year – Midsize. Founder Robyn Sefiani is again nominated for PR Leader of the Year, having won it last year.
Also nominated for PR Leader of the Year is Dena Vassallo – SOCIETY; Shane Allison – Public Relations Institute of Australia, Public Address, Phronesis; Fergus Kibble – FORWARD; EJ Granleese – History Will Be Kind and Skye Lambley – Herd MSL.
Mango Communications has received a range of nominations for Best Social Media or Digitally-led Campaign, PR-led Content Creation, Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year (two nominations), Best PR-led Brand Partnership Campaign, Best Use of Research and Insights and PR Agency of the Year – Large.

A number of brands have been represented in this year’s shortlist across the different categories, including KFC, Arnott’s, Allianz and MyCar.
Winners of the Mumbrella CommsCon Awards will be announced on May 11 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. Tickets are now available.
