How did they build an agency from scratch when they had a backer? C’mon lets get real

Thinkerbell did start from scratch and they opened the doors without any backers.
They are the facts.
PWC approached them after they opened and took very minor equity – 10% at most.
In other words, the financial component was minuscule.
Others spoke to Thinkerbell but they rejected their advances (and much money than they received from PWC).
So why partner with PWC?
Purely strategic.
So, next time – don’t let your bias get in the way of the facts.

I really enjoyed Tim’s interview with Adam and Margie.
He actually asked the tough questions in a gentle way.
And Adam seemed flummoxed! Does Adam think every media appearance is personal PR?
Great questions we all want to know Tim! Like why…after a year have we seen nothing major from these guys?
Also Adam’s renowned behavior.
And the answers between the two of them seemed discordant.
I had wondered whether Thinkerbell was getting a honeymoon run in the press with PWC and their sponsorship. But this interview was illuminating. They didnt refute the start up founder status of PWC…worlds worst kept secret. And clearly they are learning that business isn’t all hype. Measure the magic..
