Murmur bolsters senior leadership team with three new hires
Independent media agency Murmur has strengthened its senior leadership team with three new hires following a number of new business wins.
Its new leadership team includes Tara DeLuccia as operations director, Rob Hawkins as client service director, and Vatsal Prasad as performance marketing director.
DeLuccia joins the agency after over two years as head of project management at UM Australia, with previous experience also at News Corp Australia. She brings over 12 years experience in operations and project management, and has been tasked with optimising Murmur’s internal processes and enhancing efficiency across the business.
“I’m excited to bring my experience from larger agencies to streamline Murmur’s operations and support its continued growth,” she said.
“It’s a pivotal time for the business, and I’m looking forward to playing my part in shaping its future.”

Hawkins joins with over 15 years experience from iProspect, Carat, and Digitas Australia, among other leading agencies, while Prasad joins after a year-and-a-half at photography retailer Urth.
Hawkins will focus on strengthening client relationships and expanding the agency’s service offerings, while Prasad will help drive measurable outcomes for clients.
“I’m excited to really get under the hood of our clients’ businesses and find new ways to help them grow. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work with some evolving brands and take our service offering up a notch for both new and existing clients,” Hawkins said of his appointment.
Prasad added: “I view data as a story waiting to be told, and I’m eager to apply that approach to drive meaningful commercial growth for both Murmur and our clients. My focus will be on leveraging eCommerce strategies and using data insights to solve complex challenges and deliver results.”
Their appointments come to meet demands from new clients including Sushi Hub and Demi Education Group, as well as existing clients Western Sydney Wanderers FC, Lululemon, and Contour Clinics, among others.
“Our team has never been this strong,” said Dave Levett, founder and managing director of Murmur.
“This is about setting Murmur up for the future as we continue to grow and push the boundaries of what we can achieve for our clients.”
The agency will also soon welcome a media director, to be announced in due course.
