My Kitchen Rules ratings continue to climb in most-watched episode yet

Seven’s My Kitchen Rules has continued its dominance over rivals Married and First Sight and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, achieving 1.196m metro viewers on Tuesday night, according to OzTAM’s overnight ratings.

The cooking show managed a national audience of 1.761m and also achieved the top spot in key advertising demographics 18-49s and 25-54s.

Nine’s Married at First Sight audience grew from Monday night’s 879,000 metro viewers to 899,000. The match-making experiment tied for first place with My Kitchen Rules in advertising demographic 16-39, with 304,000 metro viewers apiece.

Seven scored another win with its drama The Good Doctor, which achieved a metro audience of 1.059m, making it the second-most-watched show of the night.

Meanwhile Ten’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here fell slightly to 626,000 metro viewers, and came fourth in all key advertising demographics behind The Good Doctor.

Ten’s other ratings contender, Hughesy, We Have a Problem, failed to crack the top ten after it achieved 515,000 metro viewers.

The ABC’s best-performing show was its news program, which achieved 723,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s two chart-topping wins helped the channel to an easy overall audience share win, with 27.9%, to Nine’s 19.3% and Ten’s 13.3%. ABC achieved 11.2%, while SBS managed 3.4%.
