NAB recruits mini legends dressed as AFL stars for its 2017 NAB Mini Legends campaign
NAB Mini Legends has finalised its latest campaign staring a mini Dustin Martin from Richmond, a mini Moana Hope from Collingwood AFLW, a mini Nic Naitanui from West Coast and a mini Eddie Betts from Adelaide.
Created by Clemenger BBDO, the 45-second campaign shows the mini legends playing football in their local NAB AFL Auskick teams dressed as their favourite AFL and AFLW stars.
Michael Nearhos, NAB chief marketing officer, said in a statement: “We’re excited to be launching our next NAB Mini Legends campaign that captures NAB’s support of footy at all levels. Through our partnership, we back kids as they play their first game of Auskick right through to the big time, whether that be in the AFL or the AFLW.”
The campaign is set to roll out across print, digital, social and television.
Rich Williams, creative director at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, said: “The response was incredible. The campaign really brings to life everything that’s great about the game. We hope to continue to inspire the next generation of AFL and AFLW stars through this activity.”
Nic Naitanui plays for the West Coast Eagles, not Richmond.

I believe Blighty was a righty who could kick on his left if required, but the famous torp was on his right. Are there any other former players in these ads? It would be good to see one of these ads with kids playing all time greats

putting Tatts on kids and placing people with bikie connections in the public eye as role models to kids. absolute joke. what sort of message are they sending here. dustin and mona, wouldn’t want my kids looking like this

I love the Ad but well said Nab Junk

It is definitely Malcolm Blight and even though he could kick on both feet, he is mostly famous for his 70m right foot torpedo after the siren against Carlton. Why they made the kid kick a torpedo on his left is a blight on the advertisement !

We saw this ad at the movies today with our two sons. Both aged under 6 years! Was very disappointed that NAB would condone a child showing tattoos!
We likened it to smoking tabacoo or drinking alcohol!
Not good!
