Nationwide News strengthens marketing communications team

Nationwide News has appointed Tom Wells and Naomi Tubridy to its marketing communications team. This follows several senior appointments earlier on this year.   

The announcement:

Nationwide News today announced a number of new appointments within the company’s marketing communications team.

Tom Wells joins the organisation, assuming the newly created position of marketing communication and integration manager for The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph. In this role Tom will manage the marketing communication process of both brands across all media platforms.

Currently senior marketing manager at Telstra, Tom brings to the role over 10 years experience gained both in-house and agency in Australia and the UK. Tom’s appointment is effective from Monday, October 10.

Reporting to Tom, Naomi Tubridy becomes marketing communications executive. Currently Sports and Classifieds Partnership Executive for The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph, Naomi has been with Nationwide News for three years. Naomi’s appointment is effective from Monday, November 8.

These appointments demonstrate a renewed emphasis on marketing at Nationwide News following several high profile hires this year including the appointment of marketing director David Goldman, previously at Canon.
